STAMP EXHIBITION

Rare stamps, worth in the aggregate many thousands of pounds and some of them worth individually several hundreds, are attracting many people to the Dominion Museum for the Centennial philatelic exhibition, which will be open until Tuesday. It is the most comprehensive display of stamps ever seen in New Zealand. Early issues of New Zealand are particularly strong, and the collections on view include some very rare items of these "full-face Queens." It is not only New Zealand stamps that are on show, the exhibits including collections of many other countries. Both the philatelic specialist and the juvenile collector will find the exhibition, which is free, of absorbing interest.
