NEW YORK, March 31
The Hong Kong correspondent of the "New York Times" says it is unofficially reported that Japan has served oh the Portuguese a series of demands, including the cession of the islands of Wanghai and Lappa, near the Portuguese colony of Macao, the closing of Chinese CustomsV on Portuguese territory, on which the Japanese also seek facilities for search for-anti-Japanese elements. :
