YOUNG MAN'S DEATH

TE AROHA, This Day. Yesterday afternoon, at Chudleigh Estate, Waihou, Jack Pearson Feaver, aged 23, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Feaver, was found unconscious in a drain near his home. He had been shot in the right temple. He was immediately conveyed to a doctor at Te Aroha, but quickly succumbed. Feaver had been out rabbit shooting, and apparently tripped over a loose wire bordering the drain. He was shortly to join the Air Force.
