MR. A. SEED'S APPOINTMENT [

Mr. Arthur Seed, of Wellington, has . been appointed the representative of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, at the conference of the International Labour Office at Geneva. Mr. Seed is at present secretary of , the Dominion Federated Sawmillers' Association, and secretary of the New Zealand Boxmakers' Association. He

has been on the advisory council of the Employers' Federation for .21 years. Up till the.last three years he has been prominently associated with the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. 'He has been a leading member of the. Wellington Acclimatisation Society for very many years. Mr. Seed was manager of the Maymorn Estate, New Zealand, from 1912 until that concern was put out of business by the last war,'and has been the attorney for the English owners of that estate ever since.
