PILOT KILLED

CRASH OF BRITISH BOMBER

IN GERMANY

LONDON, March 24.

It is officially stated in Berlin that a British bomber crashed near a city on the north coast. Three members of the crew survived, one being taken prisoner and the others being admitted to hospital. The pilot was killed by anti-aircraft gunfire. One of the crew made a safe landing by parachute and the two others suffered burns and shock when the plane hit the ground.
