SOUTH AUCKLAND RESULTS

TE AROHA, This Day,
The South Auckland band contest, held at Te Aroha, was an unqualified success. bands competed. Captain F. W. S. McLeod, of Palmerston North, was the musical adjudicator. .
Results were as follows:—
Test Selection.—B grade: Hamilton Citizens.. 116 points, 1; Waihi Federal, 112, 2; Te Aroha Municipal and Tauranga Municipal, equal, 3. C grade: Ngaruawahia Municipal, 112 points, 1; Te'Kuiti Municipal, 110, 2; Morrinsville Municipal, 103, 3. Hymn Test.—B grade: Te Aroha Municipal, 1; Waihi Federal, 2; Hamilton Citizens, 3. C grade: Ngaruawahia, 1; Matamata and Te Kuiti, equal, 2. Street March.—Pukekohe, 1; Te Aroha, 2. Quartets.—Class 1: Hamilton Citizens, 1; Te Awamutu, 2.
