DIRT-TRACK THRILLS
Dirt-track racing, including motorchariot racing, Davolq, in his daring escape from a strait-jacket, and the Aerial Delcados, in their famous trapeze acts, will hold the attention for about two and a half hours of all those who attend at the Kilbirnie Stadium on the night of Easter Monday.
During February 28 building permits were issued by the Hutt County Coupcil to the value of £11,647. These permits were for 13 new buildings (£8925) and 15 additions (£2722).
Members of the Second Echelon of the N.Z.E.F., residing in Kilbirnie. Lyall Bay, and Melrose districts, are reminded of an advertisement in this issue, inviting them to a social and dance next Wednesday night, when they will be the guests of the local auxiliary of the Returned Soldiers' Association,
