The Minister of Housing (the Hon. '■ H. T. Armstrong), who returned to Christchurch yesterday from a visit . to Kaikoura, will leave for Wellington . this evening. Mr. H. W. Waters, who has been. • manager and secretary of the Wellington Club for fifteen years, will retire at the end of April. He ■ will be succeeded by Mr. S. McDonald, at present manager of the Royal Oak Hotel. The Minister of Defence (the Hon. P. Jones) arrived from the south, this ■. morning. Mr.,, J. N.
