At the Dartmouth College annual invitation games eight new indoor world records were set, including one by J. Woodruff of lmin 47 7-10 sec for half a mile, which is also, under the outdoor mark! "■•■.

Other records are as follows: Dartmouth team, 3min 15sec for mile relay, the team also breaking the 1600 metres record; Woodruff, lmin 47sec for 800 metres; Jim Herbert, New York University negro, 48 2-ssec for th;e quartermile and 47 9-lOsec for 400 n\etres; John/ Borieain; New -.^ork University negro, 3miri 1 l-ssec for three-quarters of a mile; New York University team, lmin 27 7-10 sec for the halfrmile relay.
