AID TO FINLAND
REPORTED ABANDONMENT
OF PLAN
(Received March 15, 2.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 14. The Washington correspondent of the "New York Times" says that reports have reached Washington that British and French l.aders and the French General Staff differed over Allied aid to Finland and that a plan was discussed and abandoned on February 6. Islands are being placed in the centre of Waterloo Quay for the purpose of accommodating the railway wig-wag signals used where the rail«aE itoss m&- S& foo&p&taxe, ._. <
