Superiority over a side from Canterbury College was shown by a cricket team representing Otago University in a match begun at the university oval today Canterbury College were dismissed before the luncheon adjournment for an uninspiring 63, the highest individual score being 24 by Moran. By the time stumps were drawn the home side had scored 315 for the loss of eight wickets—Lawson 66, Blakely 64, Clark not out 48, Rennie not out 40, Dunn 38. The game will be concluded tomorrow.

The P. and T. Department advises that the Italian and Portuguese languages are permitted in telegrams to all courttries which admit these languages.
