PRICES FOR CHEMICALS
London advices dealing with the commercial chemical trade generally state that since the war started the prices of chemicals generally have advanced on an average by 25 per cent, to 33 1-3 per cent. Some lines have advanced to a greater extent than this, but averaging out the many lines classified under the heading of chemicals the increases in f.o.b. prices are as stated above.
