FUNERAL ON WEDNESDAY

(Received March 9, 9 ajn.) SYDNEY, This Day. The funeral of Archbishor Kelly is to take place on Wednesday.

The Most Rev. Michael Kelly. D.D., had been Archbishop of Sydney and Metropolitan since 1911. He was born at Waterford, Ireland, in 1850, and educated at the Christian Brothers* School, Waterford, and in Rome. From 1891. to 1901 he was Rector of, Irish College, Rome, and' in 1901-11 was Coadjutor Archbishop of Sydney. He was created a Papal Count and made Assistant to the, Papal Throne in 1926, the jubilee year of his priesthood. At the age of 80 he visited Rome and Ireland.
