CAMP ENTERTAINERS

DANCE FOR ANTI-AIRCRAFT

BATTERY

The men of' the 22nd Anti-aircraft Battery were entertained on Thursday evening by the executive committee of the official camp entertainers, this function taking the form of a social and dance. The men of the battery always make the hall very attractive with red and black streamers for these occasions, and the excellent music supplied, by members of the battery, combined with a good floor, all help towards their success. The pretty and coloured frocks of the girls added to the gaiety of the scene on Thursday evening, and time passed all too quickly with dances, competitions, etc. Those present were the hon. organiser (Mrs. Dennistoun-Wood), Mrs. H. M. Mulhar, the hon. secretary, Mrs. G. Webb, and

Misses Mollie Wilmot, Mavis Aulin, Marie Brooking, Priscilla Levin, Nola Lawson, Joan Shennan, Lorna Ackroyd, Margaret Elleray, Edith Whitfield, Gwen Richmond, Betty Bailey, Betty Maddock, Sheila Green, Nan Carrol, Dawn Haughley, Lauret Bell-, Sybil Williams, Birdie Manttan, Sybil Cox, Townsend, Kernan, Jean Mason, Nola Cranstone* Kura Coltman, Ruth Skerman, Harrene Davidson, Biddy Coltman, Bobby Gibbons, Black, Joan Wilkinson, June Lankshear, Mollie McMillan, Marie Walsh, Pat Reade, and Norma Valentine. The executive committee wish to thank the Automobile Association, Mrs. Berryman, Miss Thompson, Mr. Winehcombe, Mr. H. L. Green, Mr. Chapman, Mr. Falliser. and Mr. Willoughby for providing cars for transport.
