Mrs. J. Rainton, Worcester Street, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. S. C. Hodgkinson, Belvedere Street, Miramar.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Middlebrook, Wellington, are spending a holiday at Anikiwa, Queen Charlotte Sound.'
Mrs! A. B. Lane and Miss Sybil Lane, Kelburn, have left Wellington for the South Island.
Miss Joye Sutherland, Wellington, has returned home after spending three months at Lake Wanaka, as the guest of Miss Dorothy Paterson.
Mrs. T. H. Tanner, Day's Bay, and her small son left last week for a visit to her mother-in-law, Mrs. J. W. Tanner, Hobart, Tasmania.
Miss Billie Leigh, Hataitai, is visiting, Christchurch for the officers' "pass-ing-out" ball at Wigram.
Mrs. J. R. Bird has returned to Greymouth after spending a holiday in Wellington.
Miss Edna P,ayne, Wither Run, Blenheim, has retutrned home from a visit to Wellington. Miss Marjorie Beaumont, Havelock North, is spending a holiday in Wellington.
Mrs. Kenneth Duncan, Wellington, who has been visiting Rotorua, has returned home.
Miss R. Morgan, Mount Eden, Auckland, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. R. Green, Kelburn, Wellington, is now visiting Napier.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Adams, Northland, are spending a holiday in the South Island.
Mesdames C. K. Grierson (Auckland), A. E. Stayner (Ceylon), H. Q. Mavey (Massachusetts, U.S.A.), K. C. Knowles (Christchurch), E. M. Shrimpton and R. Campbell (Hastings), and Miss M. E. Young (Christchurch) are among the guests at the Midland Hotel.
Mrs. H. Clark (Napier), Mrs. S. Judge (Dunedin), Mrs. S. Turner (Raetihi), Mrs. J. -D. Campbell, and Miss J. Campbell (Invercargill) are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel.
