DENSITY'S BRILLIANCE

(By Telegraph—Press: Association.)

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

Density put'up sensational time for half a mile on the outside of the course proper at 'Riccarton this morning, run* ning the distance with A. MesserVy in the saddle in 46 3-ssec. It is doubtful whether thi&. time has ever been equalled in a trial on the course.

Density, who is a candidate for the Railway Handicap at Trentham next week, appeared to do her work easily; She is a four-year-old brown mare by Pink Coat from Denise, aad is trained by D. E. Cotton. . In. the past' Density has always showed great speed, but has failed to run on in many of, her races. She looks much stronger now as the result' of. treatment for blood trouble.
