SILVER SHIRT LEADER
WASHINGTON, February 11,
William D. Pelley, the anti-Semitic Silver Shirt leader, was arrested at the conclusion of a week's testimony before the Dies Committee on a charge of violating the good behaviour proviso in his suspended gaol sentence, imposed for stock frauds in North Carolina.
The Committee , accused Pelley cf "fulsomely praising Hitler, advocating dictatorship, vigilantism, and segregation of Jews."
