NURSING DIVISION'S RECORD
A meeting was held recently of the Wellington South Nursing Division of St. John Ambulance Brigade at the Brigade Rooms, Vivian Street. A welcome was extended to Miss Maclllray, Miss Oswin, and Miss Steele, new members. Miss Moston and Miss Thomson were to enter the Wellington Public Hospital the following day to go through hospital training for V.A.D. work overseas.
Miss Paul, Lady Divisional Superintendent, announced that during the months of November and December forty-one members of the division had put in 750 hours' public duty at the Exhibition. Helpers were asked to assist with the recording and photographing of babies entering in the National Centennial Baby Contest, which was to close in a few days' time.
The division was pleased to have present Mrs. Gaby, who spoke to the members. After the business of the division had been completed all members assisted in rolling bandages for war requirements.
