The Duel, wh6 won the Halswell Handicap at Riccarton last Saturday, is a six-year-old stallion by the Greyspear horse Rapier out of the Martian —Stepdancer mare Warlove, a fullsister to Warstepand the dam previously of Amor and Spoon. In, the spring he was capable of giving weight and an easy beating to Not Out at Rangiora.
