Addressing a gathering at Seddonville, the Hon. P. C. Webb gave numerous instances of the Government's endeavours; to bring about a more equitable distribution of, wealth, illustrating his point with an outline of the present housing scheme; stating that a house was. being completed every half-hour of the working day. He also described the deplorable condition existing in New Zealand's cities whichi the Government, by its housing efforts, was trying to overcome, giving to tenants every possible modern convenience.
