AGAIN CROWDED
HOLIDAY INVASION GROWS
MR. GAWLER'S LUCK
The winner of the honour of being the 1,200.000 th visitor to the Exhibition fell to Mr. Gawier, of Molesworth Street, at 8.13 last evening. Over 17,000 people visited the Exhibition during the day. It seems as though the stream of holiday visitors from other parts of New Zealand is just beginning. Strange faces, the freshness of their interest, which can come only with a first glimpse of the Rongotai wonderland, and conversations which stamp the visitors from either north or south of the Capital City, strengthen the impression that there are still many

thousands of New, Zealanders, to see the Exhibition for the first time before Easter. February in Wellington carries so many functions that will bring people here from all over New Zealand, and it seems that, the attendances will be maintained during that month. Nobody comes to. the city without a look at the Exhibition, the fame of which is now widespread. Greater Wellingtonia, moreover, is still supplying its daily quota of enthusiasts from within a radius of. 30 miles, who find it easy to spend a day at the Exhibition, and get home at night. Towards the end of the great show: it will be found what a habit the Exhibition, has become. / It has given the public the promenading habit, as whatever the weather, there is a stroll of half an hour, to cover, the. brilliantly-lit circuit of the courts, in any one of which hours may be spent. Talking over the exhibits with a friend passes the time pleasantly.
