PETONE COURT
* Summons cases and offences against the traffic regulations were dealt with by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Petone Court yesterday. Francis College Beattie was fined £2 and costs on one charge of failing to pay a registration fee, and was ordered to pay costs on another. For having liquor in the vicinity of a dance hall, William Clarke was fined £1 and costs. Exceeding the speed limit in restricted areas cost Jack Peers Drummond £3 and costs, Robert Manderson and Ronald Sydney Churcher £2 10s and costs each, and Thomas A. Breen and John Richard Pearson £2 and costs each. s Fines of 5s and costs were imposed on John Richard Pearson, Kenneth George Brodie, George Henry McDermid, and James Albert Rigden for failing to produce warrants of fitness. Frederick Peterson was. fined £1 and costs and Norman Walker 10s and costs for driving without a licence. Driving without due care and attention cost Norman Walker £2 and costs, Kenneth George Brodie 10s and costs, and George Henry McDermid costs only. A fine of £3 and costs was unposed on James Albert Rigden for driving j negligently. J
