LONDON. —Wing Commander Wallingford, of New Zealand, accompanied by Lieutenant-Colonel Park, New Zealand military liaison officer, completed an exhaustive three-day inspection of the more advanced of the two forces of which the British Air Force in France at present is composed.
HELSINKI.— The Finnish athletes T. Maeki and Paavo Nurmi are going to America to participate in athletic exhibitions for Finnish relief funds. .
WASHINGTON. — The Maritime Commission has approved the sale of the American merchantmen Oakwpod, Waban, Delawarean, Louiseanan, Tennesseean, and Indianan to theßritish Corporation of Runciman Limited.
RUGBY. — Brigadier - General Sir Wyndham Deedes and Professor Garstang are going to Turkey, with the approval of the Turkish Government, to assist in the distribution of goods sent by the Anglo-Turkish Relief Fund, for which goods are still being collected in London and at Port Said. —(British Official Wireless.)
