HEAVY BUYING AT WEEKEND

Following a big accumulation of buying orders over the weekend, a sharp rise occurred in all British Governjment stocks on the London Stock ExI change. They were led by the 3J per I cent, war loan, which, after opening at ;97 5-8, rose to 98 1-8.
