(Received January 22, 1.15 p.m.) ' DARWIN, This Day. Crocodiles, maddened by hunger, ar» killing many cattle which have been trapped at Roper River Bay by floods in the Northern Territory. Thousand* of head of stock .have been drowned. Pedal wireless messages reported that record floods in the Roper River val- _ ley covered all but the highest land. No deaths of whites or aborigine! have been reported.
