"SWITZERLAND" ICE BALLET.

Transformed into an ice rink, the stage of the Opera House takes on an alpine atmosphere for the "Switzerland" ice show^ and ice ballet, the spectacular J. C. -Williamson feature which is now being produced. Starring Megan Taylor, world champion skater, in addition to a host of' other hardly, less accomplished skaters, the ice show is, thrilling/beautiful, ahd novel. Attractively arranged in front of stage settings depicting a Swiss chalet, with alpine scenery1 behind,, it takes little imagination on the part'of the audience to make the stage the fdal thing, thousands of feet above worry level in the clear mountain air. Welldesigned: and colourful costumes clothe the ballet, which -waltzes and glides over the ice t& the accompaniment of suitable music. Megan Taylor's father, Phil Taylor, . also a champion, indulges in stunts, such as skating on stilts and jumping over tables." Elsie Heathcote, the MacKinnon sisters, of "Canada, Rita Bramley, Diana Graf ton, Ronald Priestley, Graham Hobbs, and others contribute to the programme. There will be a matinee on Wednesday. : i
