Prices for live poultry, which are now slightly easier, in the Wellington market this week are quoted by Townsend and Paul, Ltd., as follows: — White Leghorns: Hens, 2s to 3s each; cockerels, lOd to Is lb; pullets, best 3s 6d to 7s each, others 3s to 4s each. Ducks: Indian Runner, young 3s 6d to 6s each, old 2s to 4s each; white, young 4s to 6s each, heavy 4s to 6s each. Geese: 4s to Bs. Turkeys: Is 2d to Is 4d lb. Pressed Poultry: Boilers, heavy 3s to 4s each, light 2s to 3s each; chickens, lOd to Is lb; ducks, 3s 6d to 5s 6d each; geese, 4s to 7s each; turkeys, Is to Is 5d lb.
