HUTT HIGH SCHOOL

The monthly meeting of the Hutt Valley High School Board of Governors was held on Thursday. The principal, Mr. J. N. Millard, reported having selected a part-time physical instructor to undertake remedial work. He was now awaiting approval of the appointment -by the Department. A communication was received from the principal of the Waitaki Boys' High School on the dangers of teachers allowing their own opinions to influence their teaching of history and civics, especially in the discussion of current topics.
