MORE SHIPS SUNK
GERMAN BOAT SCUTTLED
(Received December 16, 2 p.m.) LONDON, December 15. The British steamer Atheltemplar (8939 tons) was seriously damaged by enemy action off the east coast today. It is believed that the crew were taken on another vessel. The Belgian freighter Rosa (1146 ! tons) was min^d and sunk on the north-east coast. One member of the crew was killed and Jourteen were landed, two suffering from injuries. The British Admiralty has advised the Norwegian owners of the Foina (1674 tons) that the ship was sunk off the Scottish east coast by a mine. Eighteen members of the crew are lost. Two bodies have been found. The German steamship Adolf Leonhardt (2989 tons), when intercepted by a British warship, was scuttled by her crew. The warship landed forty members of the crew at Cape Town.
