FAT SHEEP PRICES EASE,
There was a large surplus of fat ! wetliers at the Tinwald stock sale yesterday, and several pens were passed in. Sales were made from'lss Id to 22s 4d, this being about 3s below late rates. Fat ewe prices also showed an easing tendency, being about 2s below last week's sale at Ashburton. Values in this section ranged from 12s lOd to 19s 7d. Fat lambs sold well at orices from 22s 7d to 27s 3d.
