Mrs. T. H. Lowry, • Hawke's Bay, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mrs. Roland Powell has returned to Wellington after visiting Dunedin and Christchurch. /Mrs. J. S. Howie, of St.-John's Hill, Wanganui, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. J. S. H. Robertson, Wainui Road, Lower Hutt. Miss Jean Stewart, principal of Nelson Girls' College, has returned to New Zealand from a trip to Britain' and Europe. She is, the guest of her mother, Mrs. J. McEldowney, Bayswater, Auckland. Mrs. L. Tregear, Rotorua, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington and Masterton, has returned home. . Mrs. M. Hoggard, Aurora Terrace, and Mrs. A. Congalton, Oriental Bay, have returned from Auckland, where they attended the Pukekohe School reunion celebrations. Mrs. D. McPhee, Auckland, who has been spending a week in Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. W. J. Moor and her sister, Miss M. Opie, have arrived in New Zealand, from England and are spending a few days in Wellington before returning to Winchester, South Canterbury. Miss N. Enderby, headmistress of, St. John's Girls' School, Invercargill, will leave for England early in the New Year. She will visit relatives there, and hopes to see something of recent educational methods before returning to the' Dominion-later in the year. During her absence the school will be carried on by Miss E. Nicholson, B.A. (Oxon). Both Miss Enderby and Miss Nicholson were formerly on the staff of Amberley House School, Amberley. Mrs. T. Mcßae. Miss J. Dickie (Wairoa), Mrs. B. H. McMillan (Dawson Falls), Miss O'Callaghan (Waipukurau), Mrs. Georgetti and Miss Georgetti (Hawke's Bay) are guests at the Midland Hotel. Mrs.. P. Hollander (Christchurch) and Mrs. W. Tucker, /Hastings) are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. E. D. Sydenham, Mrs. E. Hamilton (Westport), Mrs. H. T. Lowry (Hawke's Bay), Miss E. M. Lancaster (Dunedin), and Mrs. J. A. Thompson (Nelson) are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Miss E. M. Mitchell and Miss G. Kean (Napier) are staying at the Empire Hotel. >: Guests at the Hotel Waterloo include Mrs. J. S. Hunt (Pembroke), Miss M. Bond. (Southland), Miss N. A. Wright (Levin), Mrs. E. M. Hare (Feilding), Mrs. J. Vickers (Waverley), and Mrs. E. S. McPhail (Christchurch).
