DIVIDEND AS BEFORE
CANTERBURY FROZEN MEAT
The\ Canterbury Frozen Meat and Dairy Produce Export Co., Ltd., earned a net profit of £32.579 in the year tended November 30, 1939; after providing for depreciation, compared with £30:394 in the previous year. Profit is struck after -allowing for depreciation, wages, working expenses, taxation, and directors' fees; and with the amount brought in from last year ttiakes the credit to profit and loss account of £43.053.
Of this £10,000 has been added to general reserve and £8000 to the renewals and replacement fund. Dividend recommendations are unaltered at 6 per cent, on preference and 7 per cent, on ordinary shares. Carry forward will be £11,178, against £10,474 brought in The directors record with regret the death of Mr. Norton Francis, who had been a member of the board for 10 years.
