DOMESTIC SENT BACK TO BORSTAL
Charged on tlrtree counts of theft j from her employer, and also with a I breach of her probation order, Ngahina O'Poore, a domestic, aged 25, was sent to the Point Halswell Borstal Institution by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. O'Poore stole a ring, valued at £5, 21s in money, and clothing and household linen worth £9 2s 5d from the Karori home of Mrs. J. D. W. Findlay, by whom she was employed, when I Mr. and Mrs. Findlay were absent from i Wellington on a holiday in Dunedin. | Detective-Sergeant W. McLennan 'stated that the defendant had been sent jto the Borstal Institution previously, and had been released on probation ; when she had still five months to serve; j The Magistrate decided to commit her to the institution again for that period and ordered the return of the stolen property, j
