Sentences totalling six months',imprisonment were imposed upon Ernest Arthur .Tremere Johnstone, a labourer and plasterer, aged 25, who appeared before Mr. J. L., Stout, S.M., ■in the Magistrate's Court today, and pleaded guilty to four charges of theft. James Allan Vincent, a labourer, aged 26, who pleaded guilty to three charges of theft of cycle parts and one charge of receiving a lamp, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained, was convicted and placed onj probation for twelve months •on one] charge, and convicted and discharged] on the others, '
