DUNEDIN, This Day ™AtJ he annual meeting of the Bruce Woollen Manufacturing Company Ltd the chairman, Mr. Peter McSkimming! said that it was with a good deal of pleasure that the directors reported a greatly increased . turnover for the year. This was reflected in the increase of £16,450 in -the gross profit7 when compared with' that of the previous year. The net prpfit remaining after transferring £10;000 to income tax reserve and writing- off £5700 as depreciation of- plant and premise? was £9613 Is 7d.

Payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, on the ordinary shares was long overdue and the directors felt that the shareholders would be relieved to learn that the Bruce Woollen Manufacturing Company was 'again in a . position to pay it.
