SUPPORT OF EMPIRE

RUGBY, November 17
On the opening of the 55th session of the Nyasaland Legislative Council, the following motion was carried unanimously:—
"The Legislative Council of Nyasaland affirms the'"determination of the people of the protectorate to support the King, the Empire, and Great Britain with all the resources at its command in the War for justice and freedom which has been forced upon the Empire, and desires the Secretary for the Colonies to convey this affirmation to his ,Majesty with the submission of the humble duty of the people of Nyasaland."
