WOOL APPRAISEMENT
STARTED TODAY
MINISTER'S ANNOUNCEMENT:
Appraisement of wool started today/ at Auckland and there is shipping avail* able to lift 19,500 bales of wool froni' that port by December 2, according to an announcement made last night by the Minister of Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash): ,•..■-.
. "It had been hoped, and particularly in view of the statements that have been made that wool was becoming v^mgested in' the Auckland brokers* stores, that this quantity', 19,500 bales, would have been available for immediate appraisement today," said the Minister. "Such, unfortunately, is not the case. It is urgent that immediate delivery to the stores be made of properly sorted fleece wools, so that the full 19,500 bales will be shipped, arid brokers are urged to do their utmost to see that this is done. Appraiser^ will be retained in Auckland during next week, so that all woo] coming forward.may be immediately -dealtwith.: "' . ■ ■.- .-,.-.-■ -. ■' ' -';
