OLD GIRLS' REUNION

QUEEN MARGAREY COLLEGE

The annual reunion of the members of Queen Margaret Old Girls' Association took place last weekend. It was purposely curtailed this year to a weekend instead of the usual five days or so as there will be another reunion in May of next year when the school is having its twenty-first birthday. : On Saturday afternoon at 5.30 there was an informal buffet tea at the school. Many old girls came, and there were about ninety present, including the twelve senior boarders, who were the guests of the association. This tea took the place of the usual more formal dinner which, will be held next year. /After tea there was an interval for cbffee while arrangements were made for the annual meeting.

At the meeting various matters were discussed, and the election of officers tpok place. The committee was reelected to carry on till after the. school birthday. After the meeting everyone adjourned to the pictures as a very large picture party.

On Sunday morning numbers of old girls gathered with the school at St. Andrew's for the Queen Margaret Day service, and on the Sunday afternoon Miss Wilson was "at home" to old girls at her home in Mahina Bay.
