BAND CONCERT TONIGHT
The Port Nicholson Silver Band will give a concert in the Exhibition grounds this evening under the baton of Mr. J. J. Drew. The programme is as follows:—Band trumpeters, "Fanfare" (Ketelbey); national song, "Arise, New Zealand" (Allan HeathcoteWhite); march, "The Storm KingY. (W. Rimmer); characteristic, • "Bells Across the Meadows" (Ketelbey); selection, "Lohengrin" (arr. Wright); idyll, "Cavatina" (J. Raff); waltz, "The Gay Nineties" (arr. T. C. Frown); march, "The Elephant" (J. Ord Hume); overture, "Woburn" (T. Gray); euphonium solo, "Serenade" (arr. W. Reynolds), musician, J. Smith; selection, "Veterans of Variety" (Chas. Field); patrol, "Jamies" (S. Dacre); reverie, "Bells at Sunset" (G. Mackenzie); cornet solo, "Londonderry Air" (arr. D. Wright), musician, H. -. Vincent; march, "The Crusaders" (J. P. Sousa).
