AID FOR HEALTH CAMP

CARD AND MAH JONCG PARTY

A most successful card and Man Jorigg afternoon party was held in the English-speaking Union rooms for the funds of the ladies' auxiliary of the Otaki Health Camp, for the purpose of providing bedspreads for the children's dormitories. A dainty home-made afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the committee, comprising Mrs. J. Burnett (president) and Mesdames J. S. Land, A. J. Barr Brown, A. Lawson, Little, E. R. Myers, A. R. Smith, W. J. Bentley, A. Dunn, and C. Meachen (hon. secretary).

The prizes were won by Mesdames F.. Walshe, L. C. Moss, T. T. Cook, and Misses Scott and Van Staveren.
