' The Russian claim for the naval base at Hanko has been reduced to i a claim for the island of Uto. LONDON, November 2. The Copenhagen correspondent of "The Times" says that, while Berlin officially sanctions Russia's demands, many Germans, including responsible military authorities, openly assert that Finland does not threaten Russia, and that therefore the Russian drive is\ really aimed at Germany. ] The Swedish newspaper "Tidningen" says that the Germans are anxious, and even declare that they will volunteer, if possible, to help Finland against Russia.
