Mrs. Bryan H. Kingston, Glendowie, Auckland, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. D. Peacock, Heretaunga. Mr', and Mi-s. J. Fenwick are Napier Visitors to Wellington. Dr. and Mrs. L. D. Cohen, Karori, left last night for the south, and will return to Wellington early next week. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Humphries and their daughter Ola, who have been on an extended tour of England and the Continent, returned to Napier this week. Miss Peggy Sutherland, Hinakura, Wairarapa, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. H. Frater, Remuera, returned to her home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brickman, Lyall Bay, have left for Christchurch for Cuo week. Mrs. Edward Dane, Remuera, Auckland, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Noel McGregor, Mount Lin- j ton, Southland, returned north this morning. Mrs. A. F. Houston, Gisborne, is visiting Christchurch for Cup week at Riccarton and is the guest of Mrs. T. L. Piller. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Lowry, "Okawa," Ha vice's--'Bay, will arrive, at Christchurch ■ today and will be the guests of Lady; Wigram, Park Terrace, for Cup week. Mrs. J. y^- Morrison, \ Devonport, Auckland, will visit Wellington and Hawke's Bay. Mrs. 'J. Mowbray Tripp, ' Silverton, Geraldine, arrived at Christchurch yesterday to stay at her town house in Park Terrace for Carnival Week. Captain: and bMrs. George Hennessy, Morven, will be her guests.. Mrs. George Dennistoun and Miss Joanna Dennistoun, Peel Forest, South Canterbury, y/ill arrive in Christchurch on Tuesday to visit Mrs. Ynyr Robinson, Merivale. •-'-.. Mr.- and Mrs. J. D. Simpson, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. A. M. Satterthwaite, Fendalton, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Todd, Mr. and Mrs.. E. B. ;Todd, and the Misses M. Todd and J.'Saunders will be Hawke's Bay visitors to Christchurch for Cup Week. Mrs. L. Warren, Wellington, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. >D. Sargent, Christchurch, returned home this morning. Mrs. bH. C. Glendining, Remuera, left by motor-car yesterday -for Hawke's Bay, .where she will stay with her sister, Mrs. Charles H. Roberts, Napier. Miss Jerome Spencer, Hawke's Bay, president of the Dominion Federation of Townswomen's Guilds, left Wellington for Christchurch last night to attend guild meetings. Miss Gwen Mitchell, daughter of Mrs. Campbell Mitchell, Auckland, who has been abroad for the last nine months, will arrive home this weekend. Miss Mitchell is drill mistress at. Nelson. Girls' College. While away she visited Sweden, the home of physical culture. Miss Ruth Herrick, Napier* is a visitor to Wellington, and is staying at the Hotel Waterloo. v Mrs. Studholme, Christchurch, is a visitor to Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. A. Hugo, who have been the guests of Mrs. James Brown, Hawkestone Crescent, have returned to Stratford. Mrs. J. H. Simpson, Auckland, is staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. C. V. Smith (Dunedin), Mrs. E. C. Holmes (Featherston), Miss R. Herrick (Napier), and Mrs. W. J. Matthews (Waverley) are. guests at the Hotel bW^terloo>; v AZ. ;/ .. Mrs.,F.,A.
