WANGANUI SENTENCES

WANGANUI, This Day. Prisoners were sentenced by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court today as follows:—Rukuwai Kirona, aged 58, attempted carnal knowledge at Patea, probation for two years and to pay costs, £2 ss; William Mosen, negligent driving causing bodily injury, licence suspended for two years and to pay costs, £17; John Moteatua Ruakawa, aged 22, attempted assault at Taihape, probation for two years and; to pay costs, £17 ss.
