SINKING OF DOLPHIN. Christchurch. —At the conclusion of the evidende at the inquest into the death of F. J. Brasell, who was killed when the fishing launch Dolphin was sunk, by a shell in Lyttelton Harbour, the "Coroner found that Brasell died from drowning plus shock. He added that a signal from the battery was seen but not understood, and a warning shot ■was fired which struck the enginerooin of the launch, -1 piece of metal from the engine striking Bi-asell. The Coroner said it was not his duty to comment on the procedure adopted by the examination vessel or whether there was any negligence Willman had done everything possible fer Brasell.— P.A."
