Alexander Mines, Ltd., reports for the week ended October 26: —No. 6 level: The quartz worked above the last rise has faulted and appears to be floating overhead in a northerly direction. At present the south end of the stone is being driven on in a southerly direction to connect with the stope south of this rise. This stope above No. 6 shows stone averaging 3ft wide, Stoping has been carried on above No.- 5 intermediate level on three faces averaging 3ft 6in wide. Intermediate south of winze still in course of construction. During the week 50 tons of ore sent to the battery. •
