MEETING OF CREDITORS
Creditors in the bankrupt estate of Louis Whitcombe, printer and stationer, of Wellington, met yesterday before the Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley). The total debts, all to unsecured creditors, were shown at £539 4s 3d, and the total assets, represented by furniture, at £75, leaving a deficiency of £464 4s 3d.
The bankrupt made a statement regarding his position, and the meeting was adjourned sine die.
"There's That Woman Again," Columbia's romantic mystery-comedy sequel to the memorable "There's Always a Woman," is showing at the Kilbirnie Kinema. with Melvyn Douglas and Vii'ginia Bruce co-starred. George Burns and Gracie Allen appear in "College Swing," the associate attraction.
