DISCRIMINATION AGAINST
POLES

LONDON, October 29.
The Riga correspondent of "The Times" says that He^jr Himmer, director of German colonisation of Polisii territory with evacuees from Estonia and Latvia, has begun his duties, assisted by three confiscation commissioners. Onerous and discriminatory restrictions, are being enforced on the remnants of Poles not yet expelled. Schools and' hospitals have been closed. The Poles must surrender ail valuables and foreign currency; while Germans whose property has suffered are being compensated with Polish property. Destitute' Poles receive no support and no consideration.
