HIDES AND SKINS
PURCHASE NEGOTIATIONS
Advice has been received by the New Zealand Government that the United Kingdom Government is contemplating the purchase of all the Dominion's output of hides and skins other than those normally sold to
Canada
This was announced by the
Minister of Marketing (the Hon. W. / Nash) in an interview today. Mr. Nash added that the question of purchase price was still the subject of negotiation. Fuller details of the position are to be announced by the Minister this evening in a broadcast address.
