BRITAIN'S FOOD

POSITION IMPROVED

NO GREAT RESTRICTION BY

RATIONING

(Brltlsb Official Wireless.) (Received October 28, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, October 27. The Minister of Food, Mr. W. S. Morrison, stated that the food supply position had improved, and there was no reason for anticipating that rationing, when introduced, will have a very restrictive character as long as the present supply position is maintained. A statement in regard to the date of the introduction of rationing, the main object of which will be to secure equitable distribution, will be made shortly.
