SENTENCES IMPOSED

LONDON, October 27,

In connection with a recent explosion at Liverpool for which the members of the Irish Republican Army were responsible the following sentences were passed: Vincent Crompton, 20 years' imprisonment; John Carney and George Whittaker, seven years' apiece; Christopher Keneally, three years' borstal. Sentence on Jean Dobson was postponed. Terence O'Hanlon was acquitted on all charges.
